Loss

A Moving Account of Loss:

"I have never cried so much from reading a book! Every page was filled with deep emotion and I cried on every page I read! As a father of two children, I felt my heart tear out as I read about the pain the mother felt on losing a child. Swarn Lamba has expressed her feelings from her innermost being as she takes you from varieties of emotions - of love, of loss, of agony. Her closeness to her charming child is evident in every word she has written. I am convinced that every parent reading this book will experience part of her pain.

The Power of Giving Empathy, Prayer and Meaning

I met a wonderful lady three years after she had lost her young son in his early 20's.  The pain was still intense; love as strong, the loss immense.

I spent some time with her to listen to her and "feel the pain".

Towards the end of our conversation I prayed that I be guided to say something that would create some purpose around the loss.

Here is what came from me as a result of the prayer.  I said to her:

That no one can take your memory of your child.  It is yours to keep for the rest of your life.
