A Dog's Purpose? (from a 6-year-old)

Being a veterinarian, I had been called to examine a ten-year-old Irish Wolfhound named Belker. The dog's owners, Ron, his wife Lisa , and their little boy Shane, were all very attached to Belker, and they were hoping for a miracle.

I examined Belker and found he was dying of cancer. I told the family we couldn't do anything for Belker, and offered to perform the euthanasia procedure for the old dog in their home.

Praise for Robin Sharma

My very close friend Robin Sharma has written a great book entitled "The Leader Who Had No Title: A Modern Fable On Real Success In Business and In Life" (Simon & Schuster).

In this wonderful fable, Robin takes you in a journey with a powerful mentor and four teachers. The teachers encompass a hotel room cleaner, a Ski shop owner, a gardener and massage therapist thereby confirming that you do not have to carry a big title or a 'worldly regarded' top notch profession to be a leader or a teacher.

Clarity, Authenticity And Transparency

Clarity leads to focus and focus leads to effectiveness.  On the other hand vagueness causes confusion and scattered energy.

 One of the ways to create power from giving is to be clear about your goals and of those whom you are serving.

It is also important to be authentic and transparent.  You do not want to promise things you cannot deliver.

The power of giving is ignited when you have clarity, authenticity and transparency.

What is Life?

Life is an experience to cherish,
         A fleeting moment to savor;

Life is a journey to eternity,
         A blessing to be part of;

Life is a voyage to be charted,
         A path to create for others;

Life, with all its twists and turns, is long and complex,
         Yet it is as short as the blinking of the eyes;
